Purpose:
Help improve the comfort, safety, and appearance of mobility equipment used by our residents. Volunteers will assist staff with cleaning and sanitizing power wheelchairs, wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices to help keep them in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
- Wipe down and sanitize power chairs, wheelchairs, and walkers.
- Clean armrests, handles, trays, footrests, and other frequently touched surfaces.
- Remove dust, dirt, and debris from equipment.
- Assist with organizing cleaned equipment.
- Report any visible damage or maintenance concerns to staff.
